Umineko no Naku Koro ni - Preparations

"Welcome to Rokkenjima, Sir, Madam"

After flying and taking a boat, we finally arrived. Rokkenjima. The place where everything began. Every year, the Ushiromiya family gather for a family meeting. Strange enough, I find this meetings an excuse to talk about how great each person of the family has become. Even though everyone is nice to everyone, I can sense envy, anger. Everyone hates everyone. Who am I to talk about this though? I haven't come here for 6 years. The last time I joined was when I was a child. Looking back then, it wasn't that bad. I spent a lot of time with my cousins. But let's not talk about this. Let's resume the game, shall we?

"Finally we arrived."
Because I haven't been here for a long time, I would expect everything to be quite different, but actually, this beach brings me so many memories. However, something is making me worried.
"Ah! This beach is the same as when I was a child ... umm, there's something different though. Where are the seagulls (umineko)? I remember them greeting us every time we arrived!"
Everyone was confused as well. It was indeed strange. From what I've understood, this is the first time that has happened. Ah, no big deal, right? Nothing bad can happen because of that.
After a few minutes of walking, we arrived at the Ushiromiya's mansion. It was quite unique and everthing was extremelly expensive. When we entered the mansion, we were greated by a servant that lead us to the room where we were going to eat. I hadn't even noticed that I hadn't eaten anything since I left the aeroport.
"Please, take a seat! Lunch will be arriving soon. Every chair has your name written on it"
No one needed that though. Everyone knew where they should be seated.

Why is this so familiar? Hasn't this happened before? What's going on? Hello? Can you hear me? ... Please ... If anyone can hear this ... Help me ... Follow ... When they cry ...

Probably you have noticed that this minigame will be based on the novel "Umineko no Naku Koro ni". If you are familiar with the concept of Umineko, good. If you are not, don't worry as this won't have anything related to its story. I will only use the names. It makes things easier for me. The story and the actual game, won't be anything related to the novel.
Ok, so what's Umineko? Umineko is a novel (if you haven't read it, please do) about some mystery murders happening claimed to have been committed by the witch Beatrice using magic. You, who don't believe in magic, are trying to find the "real" murderer and what they did. If you can't find a solution, then you have to admit Beatrice was right and you lost the game.
This minigame will have the same concept. I will explain the rules when the game actually begings! For now, what you need to know is that this game is a co-op, you will have some characters, a place and a murder. Your job is to try to prove that the murder had no magic involved ... or maybe it has? The sing-ups will be open for around 1 week, and the actual game will be around 1 and a half weeks or 2 weeks, depending on the number of players. If you want to join, just say you are in. Any questions, feel free to ask here or on discord. However, try to use this site more. I want the actual game being played 100% here, so I won't answer on discord! I hope you enjoy this minigame!

Around 24 hours before the sign-ups close! After that, expect the rules and, maybe, the characters. After 24 hours of the rules, the game will begin!

Sign-ups are officially closed! Thank you everyone that has joined! Now, this will be the rules for the game:

1. Red Truth : The Red Truth is a fact that will be used by the host and can be used without any evidence or proof to support it. This will be used to negate your theories.

2. Blue Truth : It is mainly used to represent a possibility to counter the logic of the host, but can also be used against players as well. Statements said in the Blue Truth must continue to abide by the Red Truth and can be assumed to be true, unless they  are directly refuted by the Red Truth. Blue Truth can be used by both players and the host.

3. Secret Rule : This will make the game just a little more interesting for the players! Don't you worry, this will be mostly revealed during the game! And it is a rule that helps you ;P

4. NPCs : the NPCs will have a crucial role in the game. They are like players, however, they can't use the blue truth. You can ask them whatever you want, but don't forget, they are humans. They have personalities, they may lie, theymay not answer or maybe they forgot about some details. It's up to you to know the way to approach each character. Don't worry, I will post the characters and their personalities!

Pretty simple rules! I hope you enjoy the game! The game will start in 24 or 48 hours. The NPCs will be shown before the beggining.
