5th Game ~ Nature's (Hide-and-Seek) Battleship
Rules of the Main Match
This will be Team Game comprised of 4 Players each.
Each Team will have an "Ability" or "Move" Phase.
There will also be a third team.
Team A will be called the "Salty Scallywags." This team is comprised of Alucard, Caterpillar, Koloshow, and Spellcraft.
Team B will be called the "Lost Landlubbers." This team is comprised of Toasty, Kuro, Shika, and Relm.
and Team C will be the "Naked Apron Pirates." This team is comprised of BleedingRayne and Iggy.
Main Objective for the Player Teams
The Salty Scallywags and Lost Landlubbers must expose the position of the other team's ships!
The way to do this is by using your abilities. You must also evade to the best of your abilities.
Main Objective for the Third Party Team
The Naked Apron Pirates will each take three cannon shots at each team.
Just so you aren't confused: BleedingRayne chooses to attack three squares of the Salty Scallywags map and Iggy chooses to attack the Lost Landlubbers. They can't beat up one team alone and they will be trying their best to defeat either team!
They are allowed to swap between themselves who they want to attack. They are also allowed to discuss with other players and themselves.
- Rules for Player Teams -
Each team will have four ships. Each player takes control of a ship and an ability. During their turn, they are allowed to determine whether they want to use their ability or move side-to-side or up-and-down (depending on their original orientation)
The four ships are as follows:
2-Square Ship ~ Storm Seadog
Ability: Choose a spot to use thunderous sonar. All adjacent spots will be scanned and you will be informed of how many enemies are currently located there.
Explanation: If you use this ability on B2, you would know if someone was located on A1-A3, B1-B3, and C1-C3. However, if you use it on A2, you will not go past the border and learn anything about row F.
3-Square Ship ~ Icecap Navigator
Ability: Prevents one player (name, not ship) from moving their next turn.
Explanation: The player who cannot move can still use their ability. You cannot use it on the same person twice in a row.
3-Square Ship ~ Gusting Privateer
Ability: Allows everyone to move one extra spot during their next turn. Or they can move up to three spots themselves.
Explanation: Must stay on their row/column. Ships that are vertical cannot move horizontally and the same applies to the opposite.
4-Square Ship ~ Volcanic Buccaneer
Ability: You can fire at one spot on the opposing team's map.
Explanation: However, after firing, you must stay still and reload your next turn. So no moving or using your ability the turn after.
Also, please designate a Team Captain if you want. The Team Captain has a one-time special ability-- Mutiny.
It allows you to swap a player on your team with a player on the other team. Of course, both teams need one. You guys can choose to opt out of it.
However, to make this ability useful for the teams, both teams need to agree on the exchange. And incase you don't want to, this role is not necessary. Thanks!
