3rd Game ~ Thumb War

Requirement for Immunity: Player(s) must have the highest chip total.
Condition for Death Match: Player(s) must have the lowest chip total or have fallen into debt with a negative balance.
Rules
This game will take part in 3 phases!
Phase 1 [Positioning]
Phase 2 [Thumb King's Declaration]
Phase 3 [Betting and Reveal]
Phase 1 ~ Positioning
Have all of you heard of the "Thumbs Game" or "Morra"? Well, the premise is as simple as rock, paper, scissors. It is a game that can be played in a variety of minute ways but we'll just be sticking to the thumbs for this time.
Every round, each player decides whether to raise 0, 1, or 2 thumbs.
The number of thumbs that you decide to raise is crucial. The most thumbs that can be in play are "22" since there are 11 players. The least amount of thumbs would be "0" for obvious reasons. "0" in this case is counted as an "even" number.
Phrase 2 ~ Thumb King's Declaration
As I stated before, this game will have 11 Rounds. At the beginning of each round, players will all choose how many thumbs they would like to raise (or none, if they wish to raise none). You'll be contacting either myself or my helpers to submit 0, 1, or 2 (thumbs).
Each round will basically be one player's "King" turn. We will randomize the 11 people so that each one has a turn order. Starting with the first person and going to the last designated "King."
We didn't really plan around what we'd call everything (as this was pitched as 'the someone') so a "King" is a natural fit. Moving on, a king should be aware of what goes on in their kingdom, so they will naturally know how many thumbs are raised during their turn.
I don't know what this means, can you explain more about this?
Sure! So each round will have one person to know the total amount of thumbs that were raised. After they learn about the number, they will do two things: declare a statement and bet.
Declaring a statement is simple. If the total number of thumbs raised by the 11 players is "16" then you need to make a statement about this total.
~ Examples ~
For reference, you do NOT need to begin your statement with [the number of thumbs] but you can. I just did it to simplify your understanding.
Valid--
"The number of thumbs raised is an even number."
"The number of thumbs raised is either 16, 18, or 3."
"The number of thumbs is more than the people playing."
"The number of thumbs raised is 16."
Invalid--
"The number of thumbs raised smell like flowers."
"Thumbs to infinity, and beyond!"
"The number of thumbs is 23 (or a negative number)."
"The number of thumbs can be found out if you ask me."
~ Examples End ~
After the declaration is made, the King will bet. I will explain betting further in the next phase. However, please note that if you are the selected King, you MUST bet first at the same time you declare a statement. You make the statement--then bet.
Phase 3 ~ Betting and Reveal
Betting can be a minimum of 1 chip and maximum of however many chips you currently possess.
Betting can be done three different ways.
1st - You can bet to affirm the statement. This means that you are betting on the statement being "true."
2nd - You can deny the statement. This means that you are betting on the statement being "false."
3rd - Spot-on! You declare that the number of thumbs is "a specific number".
If you bet on the first or second option, your payout is double the amount bet.
If you bet on the third option, your payout is triple the amount bet.
Besides the King's bet--all bets will be private. [Unless you decide otherwise?]
If the King declares and bets on a specific number, that number they bet on will be public information. Keep in mind, if everyone has the same amount of chips by the end, no one is safe. If everyone but one person has the same amount of chips, but the one person is the player with the least, they can choose from anyone. There is no benefit for everyone to win...
After everyone is done betting, then we reveal the number and privately give you payouts. We'll move onto the next round afterward.
For dramatic effect, every 5 rounds we will be posting the current totals. We may change this. But I like the idea of giving you guys a sense of urgency.
Extras ~
Loans
If you are out of cash or are in severe need of a larger bank account, come right up to "Iggy's Onodera Loans" and request a loan from him. These are the loans he has available.
[20 Chip Loan]
[50 Chip Loan]
[100 Chip Loan]
However, you can only take one of each loan. Not at a time. If you want, you can take all three at once. But if you end up at 0 during the game despite taking loans, you're in debt hell. We here at Iggy's Onodera Loans recommend that you only handle one at a time for safety reasons. However, if you want our personal opinion, we encourage you to take risks. Heh heh~
Our loans come with special, low interest. Really! After 11 Rounds, all you have to do is pay back the initial amount + 1.5x the interest.
For 20 Chips, that would be 30 Chips you would need to give back to us.
For 50, it would be 75.
100 would be 150. Understand?
If you aren't able to pay back the full amount and interest, then you will be in our debt. HEH HEH~~
Oh, and we are much too busy handling money during the betting phase to give out loans. So if you have any loans you wish to take out, this needs to be during Phase 1 when you are all twiddling with your thumbs! We will be closed if you wish to take out loans during betting.
You can only request loans from Iggy. Iggy
Hints
You can also request hints from Big Mama Amie. Amie
Hints will help reveal what the number of thumbs is for any round that you aren't the designated "King."
However, they cost 1/4th (or roughly a quarter) of the current amount of chips that you have. No matter how much you have, it will always be 25% or as close to it. Yes, you can do this as long as you have four chips or more.
And with that, I think I covered everything? As always, feel free to ask if you have any questions! Have fun!
