Note: This is just an idea. Not something that has to be official. I'd appreciate feedback, though.
So, in my experience playing Rabbit Doubt here, I found it quite difficult to find out the wolf's identity through sheer behavioral patterns and instinct.
Like what Rabbit Doubt is based off of, Mafia, maybe on occasions the Host can implement the "Roles" feature.
In this special feature, unique roles other than wolf/rabbit will be distributed to the players. They will have special powers and/or abilities, just like in Mafia.
Now, remember, if we implemented this, it would be totally optional. I am definitely a fan of the classics in Rabbit Doubt. Just find it a bit difficult sometimes, y'know?
If this was taken as an actual rule, then here's how it would work.
- The host will personally message all players their roles.
- The host will state all the roles before the game starts, and how many of the roles there are.
Here are some role ideas:
RABBITS
Detective Rabbit- Can choose one player to investigate. Will learn the party the player is sided with.
Nurse Rabbit- Can choose one player to save from death each night, including themselves.
Hooker Rabbit- Can choose one player to roleblock each night, preventing them from using their ability.
Medium Rabbit- Can communicate with the dead rabbits daily.
Necromancer Rabbit- Can revive a dead rabbit from the graveyard. Only can be used once per game.
Rabbit- Helps the town find and kill the Wolves.
WOLVES
Framer Wolf- Can choose a rabbit to frame as "a wolf" on Detective Rabbit reports.
Hypnotist Wolf- Can give a rabbit a false memory per night. (ex. "You were roleblocked")
Maid Wolf- Can clear the role of a dead player, making their role unknown.
Alpha Wolf- The head of the wolves. Appears innocent on Detective Rabbit reports, and can choose who Wolves kill.
Blackmailer Wolf- Can blackmail a rabbit each night into not speaking in the trials.
Wolf- Kills someone each night.
