Remember when you were a kid and you would play pretend? You were suddenly the character of your own creation and could do anything! Maybe with action figures, Barbies, toy cars, or maybe with just some friends and playing through adventures... but your imagination was the key to it all.

What was your favorite character to be?
Were you an adventurer? A knight of the round table? An astronaut? A cowboy? A ballerina? A superhero of your own creation? Or maybe you were like me and you were the captain of a pirate ship! (I'm nothing if not consistent)

(Naw, but those ice scultpures from the Northern Water Tribe look pretty sick... I wouldn't mind being a professional ice sculpter)

Geez, I'm still this childish. One of my personal favourites is pretending that I had control over shadows and shadow based powers. Very fun.

I used to imagine fighting people in an arena where eeryone had different weapons/powers. I had huge metal balls on chains instead of hands as my weapon.

Because my original character from elementary school is considered over the top, I'll choose one of the ones I made earlier this year.  Also, I'll probably be more mellow this game considering that I'll make a poor attempt at roleplaying.

Me: "I know it will sound rather odd, but let's begin with an introduction. Is that okay with you?"
Naoko: "I don't really mind. My name is Naoko Hara, seventeen years-old. Please, take care of me."
Me: "I guess the prepared questions go next.  Do you have any talents or hobbies?"
Naoko: "I like to send messages on Skype or LINE.  I don't really have any talents besides napping at any time of the day."
Me: "That sort of sounds boring for an original character.  Do you do anything else in your free time or with your friends?"
Naoko: "I don't really hang out with my friends at school.  We usually message online, so I don't talk with them outside."
Me: "You sort of sound like a NEET, Naoko.  Are you sure you don't have some sort of super power or harem?"
Naoko: "Calling me a NEET all of a sudden, you could be more considerate, Natsuki.  I don't have any super powers, but I may have something similar to one.  There is this app I downloaded a while ago.  It's sort of weird.  It's called My Friends and it's like an accomplishment game. The more tasks you complete, the more rewards and features you unlock, but instead of those, the app unlocks contacts. You can think of these contacts like spells. When you dial a number, you can summon something, like a fireball or an icicle."
Me: "Wh-What?  If that's so, then why didn't you mention this at the beginning?"
Naoko:  "Having My Friends isn't a talent."
Me: "... Ah, well, that's it for today.  Thank you for tuning in to this interview with us.  Any last words, Naoko?"
Naoko: "No, not really."
Me: "... Why did I make you a protagonist again?"

Once upon a time... I wanted to be magical.
Because all I ever seemed to see was magic around me.
In books, in films. Being magical was special.
And when I was little, the world itself seemed to be wonderous.
I wanted to make something wonderous, to add to it.

Unfortunately.. later in the years, it seemed that the magic was ebbing away.
Nothing seemed to hold its old glimmer or shine. My dream-
My dream of being special was slipping away.
And the people around me were keen to remind me that
I wasn't special at all.

I still am not special... not in the magical, wonderful way I wanted to be.
But I've found something else that is quite special.
Connections. Meaningful, fulfilling connections.
With people from anywhere.
I've helped a lot of people while I've been away from here...
And I guess to them, that was my "magic".
I'm hoping that I can continue to bring that magic to them-
And to many more.

As a child I always played around as if I was a military guy shooting up baddies in my backyard with my brother, being a sharpshooter, throwing grenades (rocks) through my fathers windshield. old man needed a new windshield after one week of buying the truck haha.so yeah. Go figure, My child fantasy turned into my career, I'm now on a contract to fight terrorists on the frontline hahaha

I have so many xD when I was a kid, I would play with character that we created. However, they would be based in having powers like controlling the water, wind, and bla bla bla and being able to invoque monsters that could help us win the battles. When we played that, I was always the guy that was thw most powerful and that was the good guy and then I went to the bad size, but I would always end with the good guys. Many deaths and a very powerful imagination. Like we were in another world. I miss that :\
