“Welcome to Greensburg, the friendliest town in America. Although small, it is quickly growing into a nice city for all to enjoy! As of right now, we have various recreational activities, residences, education sites, medical centers, first responders, a town government, and many other exciting things that make Greensburg the best place to live! This has been a message from Mayor Franklin!”

Rules

1) Stay in character.

2) Refer to the list of places and applications if needed. The application thread is here: Sign Ups

3) Anyone can join at any time. Just post an application and you can get started.

4) I will control all NPCs and important events.

5) Rules of a specific place are given in green. You must abide by these rules.

6) If you have suggestions for new locations, please PM me or bring it up with the Mayor.

7) I will add new NPCs and buildings upon request and approval or as I see fit.
8) I will announce when it transitions from day to night and night to day.
9) Laws will be added by certain events. You must abide by the laws or will be immediately sent to jail.

Current Sites

Honey Oaks Apartments: A set of 30 nice apartments. Only those with a key to an apartment can enter that apartment (unless with someone who has one).

Greensburg Heights: A nice subdivision with nice houses for the average person. For all of those middle-class laborers who can't afford Sunny Hills but still want somewhere nicer than an apartment. You must have a key to enter a house (unless with someone who has one).

Sunny Hills: A neighborhood for the wealthiest of residents. The houses here are 2-3 stories or even mansions. Only those with keycards to the entry gate may enter (unless with someone who has one).

Greensburg University: 5,000 students attend Greensburg University. It has a graduation rate of 83.5%. It is one of the best universities in the county. Only the best of students can attend. Must be a student, teacher, or invited guest to gain entry.

Greensburg University Residence Halls: Very clean dormitories than can hold 500 students each. They are separated by male and females. Must be a resident to gain entry. Entering the opposite gender’s dorms are strictly prohibited.

DJay’s Haus of Music: A nice nightclub one the west side of town. You must wait in line and be allowed entry by the bouncer. Must be 18 to enter and 21 to drink. It is only open at night.

Greensburg Superstore: A place where you can purchase anything you could possibly need. It is open 24/7. Shoplifters will be taken to jail immediately.

Danny’s Diner: A nice little restaurant that serves all types of food. It is open 24/7.

Greensburg Research: A large complex set aside for the best of scientists to work on new discoveries. Only employees, government officials, and invited guests are allowed.

Greensburg Hospital: This should be obvious. You must schedule and appointment to be seen, unless it is an emergency.

Greensburg Police Station: Keeps the city safe. Only call in case of an emergency. Handles everything crime or law related. Call 911 if needed.

Greensburg Fire Department: Puts out fires. Call 911 if needed.

Greensburg Court and Government Building: A large building on government grounds. It is heavily patrolled and kept under constant security. Only government employees and invited guests are allowed. Trials are held here and important laws are decided here.

~IT IS CURRENTLY DAYTIME~

Jay sits in the study of his lounge, messing around with the new playlist for the nightclub. He takes a minute to walk over to his window and admire his lavish garden. He felt the need to plant some new flowers. 'Maybe I should go buy more,' Jay thought to himself. He then went downstairs, locked the door, and started driving to the Greensburg Superstore.

[Venelop3]

Venelop3 is laid on her stomach on her bed texting on her phone. With a quick swipe of her thumb, the page transforms into her account balance, she stares at the unhealthy balance of $100 to get her through the rest of this month. She sighs under her breath. Since going to Greensburg University she hasn't yet gotten a job, and all of her loan pretty much goes on accommodation and then her; emergency, emergency savings. She wasn't too worried though, all of her life she has got through any money troubles her family came across. Plus they'd give her some money if she was desperate. But she didn't want to rely on them! She flicked her thumb again, and this time the page on her phone was job vacancy's in the area. Ven continued to lie there flicking through them all.

[Zetsu]

After driving through some light traffic, Jay arrives at the Supermarket. He gets out of his car and heads to the garden section. He begins looking at various flowers he could add to his garden.

[Venelop3]

Venelop3 sighs, not many places needs workers at the moment. Apart from... hmm.... she wonders if she could? She smiles shyly. She grabs her sneakers, keys and her headphones and she sets off in the direction of her desired destination (After looking at google maps obviously). As she walks she listens to "The Amity Affliction", and off she goes.

[Zetsu]

After finding a nice white orchid, Jay proceeds to meet Chen at the register. She rings him up and he heads back to his car. He is careful to place the flower in a safe location as to keep it from getting injured. He then starts his car and heads back home.

[Venelop3]

Venelop3 is almost at her destination as she changes to another song by the same band. She sighs, this walk was slightly longer than she expected, she hopes the person she plans to meet is going to be there when she arrives. Otherwise what a waste of a day it would be.

[Zetsu]

Jay arrives back home and goes to his garden. He takes time to carefully plant the orchid. He smiles and he looks around his beautiful garden. He always found it so peaceful there. Jay took a minute to lay in the hammock, taking in the wonderful sight of his garden. He then drifted off into a nap.

[Venelop3]

Venelop3 finally sees the house! Jesus! It's very big! She half runs, half quickly runs to the front door. She take a deep breath and then she knocks on the door loudly twice. *KNOCK KNOCK* "Um, hello? Jay? Are you home?"

[Zetsu]

Jay wakes up from his nap to the knocking at his door. He goes back inside, still half-asleep, and answers the door. "Who are you and how the heck did you get into this neighborhood without a keycard? And how did you know where I lived?"

[Venelop3]

Venelop3 stares at the open gates she carelessly walked through... which were now shut. "Um first of... I'm guessing you only recently got home cause, like those gates were open...", Ven points to the now closed gates. "Second... Your address is online... you're a well known celebrity almost... cause of the club and all....". Venelop3 looks at her feet and her trembling hands. "Thirdly... my name is Venelop3....".

[Ice]

Ice swung between sleepfulness and wakefulness for half an hour before finally getting up. Scratching his chest he looked at his phone and saw it was 15:33. "Pretty early, nice" he mumbled with an absent smile.

After relieving himself and washing his face he looked around the kitchen before grabbing the last bag of cheetos and headed towards the balcony. He ignored the summer chairs and flopped onto the floor that was warm from the sunlight. Bag of cheetos open and comfortable position found he idly watched the peaceful town of Greensburg.

'Should go grocery shopping... I want tomatoes'

[Zetsu]

"Again, why the heck are you here? You don't look like a Girl Scout trying to sell me cookies. Are you trying to beg for donations or something?"

[Venelop3]

"Um no... I'm a student... who's new to this city... and I was hoping.... you could give me a job...." Ven still looks at her feet as the bump and cross each other in embarrassment.

[Zetsu]

"A job? Like at my nightclub? And what kind of job could you possibly want in a nightclub? Are you even old enough to work in one?"

[Venelop3]

"I'm 18... which is like the same age as you.... but I'm originally from another country..... so like um... I can't drink here.... but I have a bar-tending license...my cocktails are pretty nice.... I uh.... so yeah.... I love music..... and I've always follow all your music online."

[Zetsu]

"I already have a great bartender. Besides, you look like the kind of girl that can't even tell the difference between a Bloody Mary and a Jamison shot."

[Venelop3]

"...A Bloody Mary is a cocktail containing vodka, tomato juice, and combinations of other spices and flavorings including Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, piri piri sauce, beef consommé or bouillon, horseradish, celery, olives, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, and celery salt..... and a uh Jamison shot is.... oh yeah! They are usually made of Irish whiskey if I remember correctly!....". Ven realised she may of got a tad too excited then.... um... look... I just really need a job, and there are barely any at the moment, and I need money to eat!"

[Zetsu]

Jay was amazed at her knowledge of alcohol. "Yeah. Well anyone can just spit off the ingredients. You need to prove you know the correct amounts of each. Come to my nightclub tonight. I will have you make some drinks as a test. My bartender, Johnny, is the best I know. He and I will be the judge of your skills. Meet me tonight at the club. See you then." With that, he closed the door and went back to his study to grab his things for tonight. It would only be another few hours before night-time, but he liked going there before anyone else. It was peaceful.

Ven looked at the shut door that closed in her face. She um guessed that worked? She smiled and did a little leap on his porch and then she quickly hurried through the gates. She put her headphones back on her head, pressed play on her phone, and she had a small bounce in her step as she started the long walk home. She'll probably need to look over alcohol book when she gets home.
