How are you doing? It’s been a while since we last talked…

I’m doing fine thank you. I’ve been wasting my time with books, movies and video games. There’s hasn’t been much to do since you all left. How is the city life treating you? Do you have a job? Do you like it? Have you made any new friends?

The town is so quiet these days… a lot of people have left and I don’t think they will be coming back… a lot has changed since you were last here. A lot of the buildings are abandoned… and the town is constantly shrouded in fog. It’s a very thick fog… it covers everything… the atmosphere is… deathly.

But I like it… I really do… the quiet is… comfortable, peaceful. And the fog helps me calm down. Lately, I find myself forgetting a lot of things… things about our time in high school… things about my family… faces… names… dates…

The days pass by… but time doesn’t seem to move forward. I feel like… I’m in a constant state of forgetfulness… and calm… like that moment when you’re half asleep and half awake… only that one moment seems to stretch out into infinity.

Oh… don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten about you… you’re my best friend. I could never forget you. Even tough we haven’t seen or spoken to each other in 10 years… I still feel… like you’re my close friend…

In fact, that’s why I’m writing you… our teacher came over to my house the other day and told me that we should do a 10 year class reunion. I hope you will be able to come. I know you must be busy with your job and studies… but it will be really nice to see everyone back together again… If you wish to confirm your attendance… please just write me back and I will make the arrangements…

And this town of yours is also unknown to me, but it does sound lovely, I quite like fog, yes very nice. And a decreasing number of people, excellent! I've never played silent hill but I'm in. I won't be able to stalk/investigate as much as in last game so sorry about that. I want to see if I can still keep up while I'm busy, if I think it's not working I will say something.
