Hello, just dropping by.
TL;DR is at the rules section.
I have a new idea for a theme game.
This type of game is just like a regular game except the roles of wolves rotate around. What I thought of is that every two rounds, wolf status will be given to another person. However, here is the catch. If the former wolf is captured, he or she will die along with the current wolf.
Okay, it sounds crazy and messy, but let me make it clearer.
In the first round, Zeref, Zer3f, and Z3r3f are wolves. They will basically choose their kills and send them in.
In the second round, those three are still wolves and will do the same action.
By the third round, those three are NO LONGER wolves. They are now rabbits. The new wolves have been rotated to Amie, Am1e, and Am13. They will send in their kills.
Round four, they will do the same.
By round five, those three will be stripped off their wolf status, and it will be passed to Kuro, Kur0, and Kuuro.
Round six, they will repeat the sending kills.
On the other hand, if the three Amies are the current wolves, and the wolves before them, the three Zerefs, are caught, then obviously, they will die. However, the three Amies will be exposed in the hanging, which pretty much leaves them dead for the next round.
Basically, if one former wolf before the current wolf is caught, that former wolf will be killed while the current wolf's name will be left exposed.
However, if the Kuros are current wolves, but the Zerefs are caught, the Zeref are dead, and that's it. That means the current wolves are safe.
In other words, if Zeref is hanged, it does not affect Kuro.
In simpler terms, if the predecessor is caught, the current's name will be exposed to the public. The predecessor before the predecessor is safe. ONLY the predecessor of the CURRENT wolf is not safe.
Rules and description:
Rabbits - Rabbits (rabbits win)
Wolves - Wolves (wolves win)
Predecessors - former wolves behind the current wolves (wolves win)
Predecessors of the predecessors - demoted to rabbits (rabbit win)
-No one knows who is wolves. Wolves do not know who are the previous wolves.
-Wolves can kill their predecessors ONLY if they know who they are. (Does not matter how you find out)
-Rabbits' goal is to kill the predecessors AND/OR current wolves.
-If the predecessor is caught, the current is doomed.
-If the predecessor of the predecessor is caught, he or she is caught. Nothing happens because they are technically innocent.
-Inactivity leads to kicked out of the game.
Pros:
-Creates a stronger LACK of trust
-Everyone gets to be wolf technically
-Strategy?
Cons:
-Could be messy
-Might be hard for longer games/lots of people?
Again, this is an idea. Anyone is free to emulate/take/based this for their future game(s), but it would be nice to give some sort of credit.
