I decided to create a FAN FICTION! Just because Degree posted one. Lol, what was thinking, I can't compete with Dede. He's a genius! WHAT AM I SMOKING?
But no matter.
If you want to join my little story, just say so and say a little bit about yourself. For example,
Username ; Real-Life Name (optional)
Personality
EXAMPLE EXAMPLE:
The Great Etna ; Angelo
Silly, witty and friendly. Tyler's best friend, and very rarely snaps.
Len ; Tyler
Rude, lazy, and sarcastic. Angelo's best friend, and shows his cute side to people he treasures. (Len would kill me for writing this, but who cares? )
Like that.
Ahaha. I forgot to mention. I'll be randomly writing in other people's point of views, to make it a bit more interesting. So, if I'm writing in Len's POV I would try to make it a bit more drowsy, and a bit refined, while my POV would be all over the place. Geddit? Whatever.
Chapter 1: Wait, just WHAT happened?
Angelo's POV
It all started normally. It always does, right? I mean, I'm just a normal kid. The average Joe down the street. The one that you know, but don't know. The guy that's pretty much there. You know, me?
Well, I'm not totally transparent. Well liked by my peers, fooling around with my friends, hanging around the local convenience store and making fun of the girls, who would comeback at us with equally sharp remarks. We would all laugh, and part ways. I was content with that life. But I didn't really think about it. I took it for granted. I never thought that something really bad would happen to me. You would too, wouldn't you? Your normal and everything, going on with your life. It's kind of like when you see a murder and think to yourself: Hey. It's not like that's going to happen to me, right? That's what I would do. I took my happy, relaxed life for granted. Not one moment did I ever think my ignorant, innocent life would change from these uneventful school days. But guess what?
It did.
It was a normal Friday afternoon. Last class was always restless. I was squirming in my seat, wondering what to do after school, and at the same time, I was trying to look like I was paying attention to the professor in front of me.
"Pfft."
I turned around to see Tyler, my best friend, snicker at me and turn back to listen to the presentation. With nothing better to do, I stared at him. He had his chin neatly held up by his hand, propped up on the desk, and the other hand on the desk, tapping to some sort of beat that he was listening to on his iPod. The teacher paid no mind. He was a star-student. Not so much in sports, but in Grade 4 I realized that he just had no interest for sports whatsoever. He had good reflexes.
The professor droned on and on about world history. Something about Greece, but right now I could care less. I stared at Tyler some more. He had medium-length black hair that perfectly went with his soft brown eyes. He was slightly tanned, and right now the expression on his face was similar to mine: boredom. His gaze fell upon me, and I looked away. I felt like a creep, looking at him like that.
Riiing!
At the same time, both Tyler and I were up, and in a flash we had disappeared into the hallway. We got to our lockers before the hall became crowded, and left the noisy building.
"So, have you become intimately infatuated with me?"
"What?" I pretended to look shocked, putting on the best shocked face I could give him. I put my hands on my cheeks, raised my eyebrows and my mouth became a large O.
We both laughed, and kept on walking.
"So, where are we going this time?"
"Hm.. I don't know..."
"You never did, ETNA."
To annoy him, I started to poke him.
"Well? What, does it hurt?"
He swiftly slapped me across the face.
"I don't know, does that?"
I winced a bit, but ignored it. He was always like this. I was surprised to find he was actually quite popular. Quick to change the subject, I asked him:
"That's a nice shirt. Where did you get it?"
"A hobo gave it to me for Christmas."
We continued on our way, making small talk. To me, this was life. It wasn't exciting, but, who really cares? I enjoyed it, and that was all that mattered.
It wasn't long before we decided to part ways. With a quick wave, I started on the last bit of my way home. I looked up and saw the clouds. They were a golden yellow from the sunset, looking like they were chatting about the weather. How ironic. I continued to walk, and before long, I got bored. I always do, and this was no different. So I decided to think about a deep topic. Think deep I told myself. I began to wonder how Tonogai Yoshiki thought up of his manga, Doubt. It was that manga that got me hooked on a forum that I recently joined, RDG. Soon after, I introduced the manga to Tyler, who also decided to join RDG after completing the manga. I wondered what kind of magic Tonogai had put into it. Maybe it was just the fact it was a horror manga. I utterly enjoyed it, especially when I read it at night. It was thrilling to be scared out of my wits. However, I thought of the unrealistic ending and began to ponder about that. The author obviously wanted to cut it short. It was going so well too, with the childhood friend being the real wolf. I actually would have liked it better if she was really the wolf, not the one that was revealed two chapters before the ending. Or maybe it would have been better if there was no wolf, and they were killing themselves out when in reality there was no real wolf in the first place. What if-
BAM!
My thoughts were caught short. It was as if everything was in slow motion, like in the movies. It was as if time itself stood still.
Almost immediately after, I was falling slowly. I attempted to turn and look to see who had the audacity to harm a boy that had probably done nothing to him. But my senses failed me, and I only had the chance to catch the slightest silhouette before I completely blacked out.
I woke up coughing. The room was horribly dusty, and the stench was awful. If I were joking around, I might have said to Len:
"It was like a two skunks decided to fart, then barf, and then die. And then fart again."
But I was serious now. However had done this was probably serious too. So I decided to open my eyes.
What a horrifying sight.
The room was covered in dried blood. My head was still dizzy, but I could still easily see the contents of the room. There was almost nothing there. Besides the blood, the walls were white, and the floor was made of ugly, brown ceramic tiles that were cracked in various places. It indicated that this might have once been a grand place, but somehow climbed down the evolutionary ladder to the very bottom. The tiles were so dirty, you couldn't even accurately describe the colour. It looked black, but after scraping away more than a dozen particles of hard, compacted dust, it showed a slightly brown colour. I immediately stood up, but began to feel light-headed. Holding the wall, I attempted to regain consciousness. After my sight had become dependable, i looked around and let out a horrifying gasp.
It looked like a horribly mutilated body.
I felt my insides coming up to meet my mouth. I barely swallowed them down. The body was missing various fingers, and the head looked like it was bashed repeatedly in the head, making it look nothing more than a lump of rotting flesh.
On the wall, it simply read in nasty scrawl:
ONE BY ONE, THE RABBITS WILL FALL DOWN DEAD, TAINTED BY BLACK SOULS
But no matter.
