Game 146 : Round Six

Gabriel was distressed. Why was the bad guy putting so much attention to him? Now, the whole police department was suspicious of Gabriel and he didn't know what to do. At the same time, they were uneasy and stressed from all the past kills made a couple days ago. Yet. The killer hadn't made a move the past two days. After taking the deputy, the killer had gone quiet.

The police department had been working endlessly to find the deputy only to get a faxed note from the killer.
It had instructed Gabriel to meet him at an abandoned parking lot structure.

However, at the lot, all he could see was the deputy trembling in a fish tank that had been sealed with an exception of a small hole. The fish tank was elevated up into the air with cables and there was no one to be seen. The deputy noticed Gabriel and began banging on the sides of the tank, screaming for help.

Unsure if this is a trap, Gabriel looks around for anything suspicious when he notices a note taped onto one of the pillars holding the structure up. "Using the tools in the car on the 3rd floor, break your deputy free. Otherwise, watch your deputy drown. You have until midnight. If any other tools are used to break her free, she will be shot to death."

Gabriel quickly jumped inside his car and drove up 3 levels. He, then, transferred all the materials into his car and drove back down to the deputy. Gabriel wasn't sure of what to do. He had no idea how to get her down safely. In the car, he had a typical tool kit with hammers and screw drivers along with a couple nails, a hand saw, a couple bricks, planks of wood, and a couple other things.

Moments later, Sayuri began having muscle spasms and the fish tank began to sway from one side to another. And soon after, she began to gasp for breath.
Yet, by the time he constructed a plan to build a structure to save her, Sayuri had died from strychnine poisoning while dangling in the air.

The killer had lied. There was no way he could have finished building anything to save her. The killer had planned Gabriel's failure from the start.

SOOOO SORRY FOR THE WAIT D'X Life threw a some curve balls at me. But yeah. I gave a couple more hours (so you have like 34 hours) so please use it well. Also, please please please vote. I would really hate to remove anyone.

Well I'm going to the noob thing, and just basically say I do not think Gabriel would write himself in the story, so it's someone else. I need to go through all of these guys posts and see who I think is the most suspicious.

EDIT: Right now the people I find the most suspicious is Gilly and Lm2. Gabriel in my eyes has pretty much been proven innocent. I mean.... I don't think any one would use themselves as a story play piece even if they were desperate. Lionheart is new and quite unactive, with the detail descriptions in the murders, and they fact that I don't know them that well. I can't place them as the murderer. Hikari, hasn't really done any supicious posts of at yet, just the way they seem to be on the game, and defending others, just makes me think they are innocent.

I'm slightly suspicious of Gilly due to well who she's voting. Not how. But whom, looking over she really has been just following the crowd, there has mainly been more over views on what other people have said other than what she has been saying herself.

Lm2, just his posts seem... off. I don't know why, they just bug me.

I don't know who to vote for yet. Will be back later.

Wait so the main reason you are voting Ven instead of Gilly because you can't imagine Gilly writing flirtatious clues? Why couldn't Gilly write flirtatious clues? For that matter why couldn't any of us?

Also your suspicions on Ven are a little strange. You say she was "active" before Cloud died but not really. In Round 1 she made 2 posts. The first one saying she was going to post later and then she did...not real high activity there. She was more vocal in the Hanging 1 but all she did was comment that her close friends died and responded to a funny photo. I never really count Hanging posts as activity because it's usually "oh no they were innocent" or "oh yea it was a wolf" kind of the same stuff all the time. During Round 2 she made 3 posts all together. The first two were saying she was going to log in later and vote, and the last one was her vote. Since Round 2 she has been about as active during the round, but has contributed more in her posts with reasoning for her suspicions instead of simply bandwagoning like others.

I think just counting the number of posts someone makes is not a good indicator of how active a person is, but more so the content of their text.

Gilly on the other hand hasn't really contributed that much in her posts throughout the game. It could be that she is just busy and doesn't have time to post. One thins that bothers me about that though is that Gilly has logged on twice since the round has started and hasn't said anything, I find this behavior odd and will be voting her +1 Gilly

No not at all. Ven has been a semi to very playful wolf in the past. This is not my main reasoning, however it is part of it. What made you think this was my sole reason??

Honesty I think I am maybe the first person to have looked into you this game. You vote very safe and voting on things which does straight out make that person automatically suspicious.

So I change my mind I don't find Gilly suspicious at all. If anything yes her votes are safe, but she has followed some of my reasoning through out this game, and if anything, this shows to me that she is in fact a rabbit. Also Gilly doesn't fit the sort of wolf for this game but YOU DO.

I mean it would make sense to make it come off that you think I'm innocent, if all else fails, if me or Gilly died in this round, you could point the blame to the other and say IT MUST BE YOU. Also from then you'd have pretty much won seeing as Hikari and Lionheart are more inactive than me in this round.

So firstly Gillybelly I'd defend yourself, you can't go down without a fight!

Well as much as I've suspected Ven, Lm2 is being really weird...

At the time, yes, it was my reason for voting Ven over Gillybelly, but now I've looked into it more.
And I did the calculations(i have forgotten them cause I'm not a genius) and Ven posted significantly more before Cloud died. But once I said that, she's been much more active.

I'd like to see more of what you have to say. You seem to sort of be jumping on my gun. Which normally, that wouldn't be suspicious, however, there is no possible way I could be a wolf. If I was a wolf, Amie would have said so, and stated that she had picked a new wolf.

I won't place my vote on you until further inspection, but I find you suspicious as well. Please tell me more.

Alright so first of all I am not your savior. I just disagree with Gabriel's reasoning for voting you and expressed my opinion on the subject. In the end though he can vote whoever he regardless of what I say.

You use the words empty and bare. I would use the words concise and to the point. I don't like to vote based on gut-feelings, I try to always base my votes on some form of reasoning that makes sense to me and that I can clearly explain so that the person I'm suspicious of can defend themselves. This is a common trend in the majority of my posts (make sure to also look at games where I wasn't a wolf). I also am not a big fan of writing, so tend not to write as much, but that point doesn't really matter here. I'm sorry if you think I vote "safely", but in reality I vote with what makes sense to me.

Her votes are safe? You mean she has bandwagoned the majority of the game and stayed out of the way. That in no way means she is innocent because she hopped onto some of your reasoning in previous rounds. If anything that is a decent way to lay under the radar. Also what do you mean I fit the sort of wolf for this, but Gilly doesn't?

oh interesting theory, but wouldn't it have been easier for me to just let Gabriel keep his suspicions of you and lay low, then join in on his vote on Gilly next round instead of challenging him and drawing attention to myself? Also the only active people right now are me, you, and gabriel so wouldn't it make more sense for me to get rid of you this round?

AHAHAHA Oh my dear Lm2 xD

Concise and to the point are usually good logical points in games, plus also work in this game... sometimes. The likely hood is I find that in RDG you need to have a few more guts instincts and try and make yourself seem like you really are thinking about the point.

About the fitting the wolf. Compared to Gilly, I think you'd be more of a wolf who would do something like involve Gabriel's name in the story, I think you like to have fun, and love putting on shows, I mean there is no point making a game boring, so we must spice it up with evil twists, like the one with Gabriel and Sayuri.

Finally, the reason why you'd want to tell Gabriel not to vote for me. Why not mess around with the person in your story? Aren't you honestly trying to tease him, if he's getting annoyed in the story about not solving the case then he would in the game as well. It's a giant game, Have fun ;P So I am not removing my vote on you. Whoops. You fail.




I'm usually good with gut instincts, and of course a wolf needs to play different all the time, otherwise what's the point my dear Lm2.

Honestly my method for hunting wolves has about the same success rate as everyone elses method. I do think gut instinct voting is important especially in the beginning of the game because there is not much to go off of and it gets the conversation started. But I believe voting with reasoning instead of gut feeling later in the game gives players the opportunity to analyze that reasoning and defend themselves, thus keeping the conversation going.

Your main reasons for finding me suspicious aren't wrong per sey. Yes I've been bandwagoning, but that's just something I always do. I trust other people's deductive work over my own any day, which is also the reason why I'll log in and leave without posting. I like to hear from everyone first. And I have been rather busy this game with school and other activities, which is why I've missed voting in some rounds.

As for my vote this round, I don't think it's Hikari or Lionheart. I'm not really leaning towards Gabriel either, which leaves Lm2 and Vene. If I'm not mistaken, I placed a vote on Vene earlier this game, but nothing really came from it. Without meaning to backvote, I think I'll place my vote on Lm2 more or less by process of elimination.

(Sorry Gillybelly i just have to stick with my gut and the suspiciousness around you) My points to add to Lm2s post include the fact that you've pretty much only agreed with people and never added your own ideas. I feel like someone would do that to avoid suspicion soooo.......

Also people are right that I'm not posting a lot but I am active lol this is just my first game and i'm trying to get everyone's styles down, so i'm usually just reading a lot. That how I'm probably going to be for a few games till i get the lay of the land.
