Humans think they own the world but what they don’t know is that they’re nothing but another notch on the food chain. They’re lower than us. We are fae, an ancient race of supernatural beings, hiding and feeding on the humans that populate this planet. Are you ready to join us?

This is a Lost Girl Themed/Special Game, if you haven’t heard of Lost Girl then, go watch it. WATCH IT!!! Now that you’ve watched it (or not that’s cool too), we can get down to business. First things first, a simple introduction for those of you who have not had the pleasure of seeing the awesome show, Lost Girl is a universe where a hidden race of supernatural beings exist whom call themselves fae. Fae in general means fairy but in this show pretty much anyone born with a supernatural ability or such is considered a fae not counting the ones we hear in fairytales.

Now the fae are divided into two groups, the dark fae and the light fae, each group can be either good or bad depending on the fae you ask but generally the light fae are “good” and the dark fae are “bad”. Again darkness does not equate to evil just as goodness does not equate to light, in other words not everything is as black and white in these two groups. Within each group there is a leader, The Ash for the light fae and The Morrigan for the dark fae, as well as a set of council members but for this game we won’t be in need of the council members. As for enemies, besides themselves, the one thing fae feared would come back were the Garuda. A race of ancient supernatural creatures that fed not from humans but from fae… So in our story the wolves are equivalent to the Garuda.

Good? Good! On to business then, in this game you will get to choose what type of fae you’d like to play as, woo! For example, you can choose to be a vampire or a werewolf but if you do I’m going to call you a boring potato (but don’t let that stop you from choosing a vamp or were) because I’m pretty sure you can be a whole lot more creative than that. But to help you here’s a list of some fae that have appeared on the show:

**You do not have to choose any of the ones in that list, you can pretty much choose ANY mythical creature to play as so long as it is fun~ Or if creatures aren’t your thing then a special power then that makes you super awesome~ But if you do choose that please PM ahead of time if it can be allowed or not.
***Not choosing a fae means you give me FULL liberty of choosing the fae for you. I’ll either be doing this by random assignment or my own storyteller way to gain more interesting diverse fae.
****You also have the option of choosing to be a human. If you choose to be a human though, understand that you will be owned by another fae in the game because humans cannot know of the fae world and those few that do are claimed by a fae so they aren’t eaten.
*****As a thing please do not choose any characters or beings that appear in Manga’s or Animes, if you honestly can’t choose a creature and feel the need to use one from a manga or Anime please PM to see if it’s ok but as a thing I might just say no.
******There can only be one type of fae, so no duplicates. Sorry~

Now I’ll have the pleasure of shuffling you around once the sign-ups are closed and you’ve chosen your fae or I’ve chosen for you and randomly place you in your designated home, dark or light. There is no way of changing this once you’ve been placed you are stuck there for life, THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE GAME OF YOU HUNTING THE WOLF (Garuda). Once everyone is divided there will be a leader among you for each group, an Ash and Morrigan. This leader will also be chosen at random, once everything is set up the wolves/Garuda will be chosen and it will be up to you to find them.
Again the leader is for me to play around with and will have no direct say in what happens in the game.

Now here’s the thing. I am allowing for role-play to happen. Do it. Have fun with it. Go crazy if that’s what you want BUT I will not tolerate any abusive language or anyone hurting anyone else in this game. Now if everyone participates and is active, as well as role-plays (you don’t have to but it is strongly suggested >>) then the hangings and the beginning of rounds will have more material. Whatever you type in the rounds or hanging will be used by me to create my little story for you all. The more active you are the more I write but the less active then the less I write. Capiche?

One last thing before you all go crazy, have fun and be nice to each other. Anyway, that’s it really so just place your name at the bottom and the fae or human you’d like to be and that will be your contract to joining the fae world~ Now good luck and make sure to not look under the bed~

Shikigami are said to be invisible most of the time, but they can be made visible by banning them into small, folded and artfully cut paper manikins. There are also shikigami that can show themselves as animals or birds. They must be conjured during a complex ceremony and their power is connected to the spiritual force of their master. If the evoker is well introduced and has lots of experience, his Shiki can possess animals and even people and manipulate them. But if the evoker is careless, his shikigami may get out of control in time, gaining its own will and consciousness. In this case the shikigami will raid its own master and kill him in revenge. Normally shikigami are conjured to exercise risky orders for their masters, such as spying around, stealing and enemy tracking.

One is being a messenger / spy for the other Kami; Yatagarasu's appearance was regarded as an omen for either something really good or bad.
His permanent appearance was through the Koto Amatsukami, namely Takagi no Kami and Amaterasu who sent Yatagarasu as a savior to end Emperor Jimmu's war.
The second step of his legend is that of a hero and savior. There are two myths known in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki:
In the first one it's Amaterasu who is threatened by a terrible monster with great authority. The people were crying for a savior to come and slay the beast. And so, Yatagarasu came and slew the beast. Amaterasu's life was saved by her guardian, the crow Yatagarasu.
The second one involves a war again. Kamo Taketsunimi no Mikoto, the founder of the Kamo-Agatanushi clan, saved the people by turning into a great crow and thus ending the war. The Kamo Ataganushi, which still exist today in Japan, were called the descendants of that kami.
Yatagarasu is still worshipped today in many Japanese shrines.

And yes. I know デリエン chose Incubus. But there are differences.
1) Incubus is a man. Succubus is a woman.
2) Incubi totally traditionally go after sleepers/sleepy people... which in my opinion makes them a little more pervy_{just saying}.
3) I'm pretty sure incubi really just want to seduce people and make babies? I could be wrong.
