Game 236: FINAL ROUND

In conclusion, both Relm and Oliver were dismissed, their Pokémon "dismissed".

Under the eye of this Earth-destructive storm, the remaining three came together one last time to finish this and end the storm.

Who will it be? Who is... The Wolf?

This is the FINAL ROUND of this game!
(sorry it's been so long)

Fitting for the most active player to be the only PC left. 
But the real question is, who is really the wolf?

Feel free to vote however you desire.
And you can ask for aid from your dead friends in the discord.
You may also ask any questions you see fit to ask of the NPC's (or of my, the host).

I will say this...
At some point in the game, I left a very big hint as to who the wolf is.

The Professor watches the storm. "Which one of you two caused this?"

[SpellCraft]

"W-what?" Charlie exclaims. "I would never do something like this! How did it even hap--"

[SpellCraft]

"Someone," The Professor begins, "has been sacrificing Pokémon. Killing them. Haven't you seen the signs? That beast up there," she points, "is planning to destroy the human race for such inhumane behavior against Pokémon."

[Riley Rain]

"I need some more information. Charlie, why didn't you catch any more Pokemon since the first day?

Professor, why did you become a pokemon professor in the first place?"

[SpellCraft]

The professor answers, "The same as most Professors. Fascination, and the drive to study Pokémon. I want to know about their behaviors, why they do the things they do during certain situations."

(I was summoned via Discord!) Ponchi walks back over the beach, still heartbroken over the loss of her friends. If she can help catch the killer, she will.

"It might be the professor. If she wants to 'see what they do in certain situations' then maybe Castor was purposefully trying to summon or agitate the pink beast by killing all those pokemon."

"The professor didn't care when her pokemon was killed. Her only comment was that it was interesting. It seems like she would prioritize her research (anatomy of pokemon, observing the beast, idk) over the lives of the pokemon lost along the way. I wonder if we can check out her lab?"

"The professor also spends a lot of time on the beach, where a lot of the dead pokemon have been found.
If the beast somehow let her control other pokemon, that could be another motivation. Although that could be true for anyone, it doesn't seem like Charlie could kill so many pokemon in cold blood."

The professor listens, then says her part. "Your claims aren't unjust, but they negate the fact that it's my job to research Pokémon. Of course, I'm upset that my Pokémon have died. Did you forget that it was because of you people that I lost Pokémon too?" She calmly says, "How dare you accuse me without proper evidence other than the things you've done to me yourself."

[Riley Rain]

"Prof, why did you tell us that Team Doubt was stealing Pokemon? And how long have you known about that pink Pokemon?"

Once the Professor has answered I want to ask her, "Would you say you're the type who likes solving riddles? Maybe even making them up?" 

Finally, after all that I'd like to ask, "Also, what did you think of this?"

The Professor takes a deep breath.
"Team Doubt has always been known for running around the causing havoc. There's no doubt in my mind they were the ones stealing my new Pokémon shipments, and other trainers Pokémon. But no, I didn't see them with my own eyes."

"As for that pink Pokémon, I've  actually read about it a long time ago in some ancient texts along side researching Ho-oh. That night you stood next to me on top of the mountain was the first time I've seen it though."

"No Professor, I'm calling attention to what the sign says. Do you remember the two starters you brought with to fight Commander Summer? You brought a Charmander and, more importantly, a Torchic. You're the only trainer on the island who's had access to a Torchic throughout our entire adventure. You told us that another trainer took the Torchic from our batch, yet there doesn't seem to be anyone else around. As someone who studies Pokemon, and has already captured Arceus, surely you'd want to study rare and powerful mythical Pokemon. What better way than to summon it and possibly capture it? The professor shakes her head. "I don't study starter Pokémon, I mentioned that I get shipments of starters often. The Pokémon that weren't picked in the last shipment, I just took with me to that 'urgent' battle." She speculates. "Speaking of which, I helped you two out, yet you want to accuse me of hurting the very thing I set my life's work on?"

"Think about it. What really big idiot would place a sign on a dead Pokémon, that leads it back to them specifically?"

[Riley Rain]

"You just said you don't study starters. The majority of victims have been starter Pokemon. Regardless, both you and Charlie have helped me out multiple times, but I know that one of you has to be the guilty party. So what evidence do you have that it's Charlie and not you?"

[SpellCraft]

"Maybe the fact that I've answered all of your questions, but it seems you've rarely asked Charlie any. Seem fair to you?"

"Here's a question: 'You just said you don't study starters. The majority of victims have been starter Pokémon.' What do you mean by that? What does my research have to do with the recent deaths?"

"Seems you've convinced yourself of some conclusion before I even answered your questions. You have yet to provide real, concrete evidence, however. Baseless accusations gets us no where."

[Riley Rain]

"You're research may very well include studying this mythical Pokemon. I don't know exactly what your focus of study is on because when we first met you didn't tell us. Why I bring up the starter Pokemon id because you claimed 'I don't study starter Pokemon' as a defence right after you told us 'yet you want to accuse me of hurting the very thing I set my life's work on.' I agree with you that there isn't any purpose in throwing arround baseless accusations, but you aren't giving me anything to work with. Besides that sign, what other evidence or indication do we have of who the killer is?"

I turn my attention to Charlie, "Charlie, I do have some more questions for you. Why would you wander out at night alone, knowing that there's a killer on the loose, when you only had one Pokemon with which to defend yourself? Another thing I'd like to ask you is why did you so easily place a vote against Professor Caster in an earlier round?"
