America is full of people who are proud of their country...because most others were not proud of their original countries to begin with.
This I agree with. And don't get me wrong, I don't hate America. I'm grateful for some of the things it's given me - but right now... hmm... it's very hard to explain. There is so much going inside this country that makes my flesh crawl I can't even express....
Anyways, though, welcome. The humble loft is to the right and the peaceful meadow is to the left. All that's left is the decoration of the dead...it needs to be cleaned every week and restocked, you know!
It's not against health regulations? Also, do you tack them to the wall, or prefer to actually have them mounted?
Patriotism is enormous in the US. If you put a flag in your front yard in France, it won't stay intact for the day
Depends where you are, and what flag you're flying. I live in the south, so I see tons of people with confederate flags. No idea how long they remain flying.
On the topic though i believe in the people of America just not the politicians. Honestly every politician needs to realize they are there to represent the people and not just those who come along with big check books and whisper sweet lies in their ears.
I.... hmm... I would like to believe in the people of America. But we've become so set in our ways and have forgotten that we should be accepting of everyone, regardless of their religion and beliefs... I mean... so much that is going through for bills and what not recently has been completely unconstitutional. Bah - I won't get into it all! @.@ But I agree with you, Master. It does seem to have come to that in many cases.
