Each game will have 1, 2 or even 3 wolves depending on the number of total players (rabbits/wolves):
4 – 15 players = 1 wolf
16 – 29 players = 2 wolves
>=30 players = 3 wolves
The first night a rabbit is killed by the wolf. When the others rabbits find the dead body they want to hang the wolf. So they cast a vote to who they think it is. Whether they were right or wrong, that rabbit or wolf with the most votes hangs dead. If it's the wolf then the rabbits win the game. If it's a rabbit the wolf will kill again. That's when the rabbits decided to hang another by the same process.
How to sign-up to a game:
- The GM (Game Master) will be the only one assigning and hosting the games. Before starting a new game, the GM will post a thread for sign-ups in the “Current Game” section of the “Rabbit Doubt” board.
- Usually the sign-ups are posted a day after the ending of the previous game (sometimes this can take longer if the GMs need some time to prepare for the next game).
- To join the game, players just need to post something in the respective sign-ups thread.
- Sign-ups usually stay open for about 24 hours, sometimes longer depending on the type of game played and the number of players that joined the game.
- After the sign-ups are closed, you can no longer join the respective game. If you want to play you have to wait for that game to end and join the sign-ups for the next game.
- Depending on how the game progresses, it can last from 8 days to 15 or even more.
- Non-players of the current game can't talk/convince/vote in the "Current Game" as that's outside interference.
The Rundown:
- Once the players are gathered and sign-ups for the current game are closed, the game begins.
- The GM will choose the wolf/wolves and send out a PM to him/them, notifying him/them that they are a wolf. If you don’t get any PM from the GM, you are a rabbit.
- It’ll start with the wolf/wolves picking their first victim.
- After that, the GM will open a “round”. The remaining players will have their names put in a poll and a discussion thread for the current round where they can defend themselves, point fingers, vote or whatever else they might want to do. Whoever gets the most votes at the end of the round will be dead.
- After a round, the GM will post the “hanging”, where he will announce if the players who were hanged were rabbits or wolves.
- Rounds and hangings usually last at least 24 hours (one day) so that everyone can have the chance to post/vote, regardless of their time zone.
- If the Wolf/Wolves were hanged, then the rabbits win the current game. If rabbits were hanged, the current game continues and the wolf/wolves pick another victim.
- If the Wolf/Wolves is not there to pick a victim in the time provided then the victim will be picked for them at random by the GM.
- Each round will repeat like this till there is an end result of either the Rabbits or the Wolf/Wolves winning.
- The rabbits win if all the wolves of the current game are hanged.
- The wolf/wolves win if all the rabbits are dead.
After you inevitably die:
- The dead can’t vote or talk/convince in the discussion board of the "Current Game".
- Once a player is dead, a GM will PM them a password for a sub-board, "Current Game Discussion", in the Dead Talk board. You cannot share this pass with anyone! Before you post, you must read the rules if you haven't! The "Current Game Discussion" board is made for current game talk only. I request you keep normal chats in the normal Dead Talk. The password will change every game.
Special Games:
- From time to time we will host a special type of game. These games will have their own special rules or roles which will be explained by the GM (or not, if he wants to keep the mystery). The fact the game will be special will be announced in the game’s sign-ups.
