From the writer of The Rabbit's Pact and a bunch of completely useless stuff too comes the one guide that you all should read this summer/fall/winter/spring, heck whenever you join our group of insane players.
It is almost a given that a new player will ask how to play the game which is almost always answered
Sometimes not as nicely as that depending on who answers and also how the question was asked. Since the links to all of those different things are labled very well under links, the location changes on Kura's whim, I will assume you can not find them. So here they are.
Rules

Do not worry I can see you brow furrowing at the mere thought of having to both read and then understand 3 whole posts, so I am here for you. The kind and magnanimous person that I am, will not leave you stranded I will help you understand each post to make your transition from fresh meat to dominate vet as smooth as possible.
The Rules
These things are key to not making yourself look bad in the eyes of everyone here. Remember the person you tick off today may be the one with your life in his/her hands, let alone GMs who can outright ban you)
The general rules for the site are simple to understand:
1. Please act in a wayyou want to be treated you would want the most important person in the world to you to be treated, ie your mom, religious leader, significant other, ect.
-Respect everyone, disagree with them but do it in a way that dose not lower yourself to the point of being a useless troll/flamer/My Love.
-Respect the right of us all not to have to listen to your rendition of Pulp Fiction. Swearing dose not the mark of a wise individual make, only a sad lonely one.
-Respect your own ideas. If we do not understand what you are saying because of how you type it then your ideas are wasted. You could be brilliant but no one will ever know. So please try to type in a way that everyone can understand you. Generally that means no shorthand/text message typing/leet speak/other forms of communication that most will not get. Also try to use the nifty spell check (I personally love it) and try to use decent grammar to. The exception to this rule is if you are trying to talk in code, then it is ok, sort of.
-Respect the GMs above all else. For all intents and purposes on a message board you can call them god. They hold the power of life and ban. Also this is a GM run game. All of our GMs work very hard to bring us this wonderful experience so if you disrespect them, most players will never respect you.
-Respect your own right to privacy. This is not twiter and we do not care that your boyfriend/girlfriend/prostitute on the street was mean to you yesterday or any other junk like that. If we wanted to live in the real world we would be out there not here. Give us our sanctuary free from your drama/comedy/tragedy. Some of us may care but most do not and do not want to deal with it/you.
The last rule is purely a forum courtesy. Please do not make sigs/pictures that are too big. The GMs will be more then happy to delete your sig should that occur. Just use all of the brilliant sigs that are already being used as a reference to what is acceptable.
In game Rules are vital for all to have fun:
This section I will combine with my own simplified version of HOW TO PLAY for ease of understanding
The Game Flow or how this game works
1. SIGN-UP
After a game has ended the GM for the next game will post in the CurrentGame section a post called Game XX sign-up (open). If you do not see this or it says Game XX (closed) then sorry you are too late or too early and you can not play yet. (sit back if the game has already started and watch and learn, but never try to participate) Asking to join a game after the sign up is over will not work and not gain you any friends so do not attempt it. Also playing in a Game you did not sign up for will generally tick off everyone in the game and you will end up, if you allowed to play after doing it (in the next game), as wolf food or first rabbit hanged.
Lets now assume you have signed up like a good player.
2. The selection of the Wolf
Unless you are the GM for the game, and I doubt a new player will ever be a GM, then you have nothing to do after you sign up and befor the game officially starts. The GMs are not politicians and you are not a lobbyist. They can not be begged/bribed/cajoled/guilt tripped/anything you can come up with to make you a wolf. Asking or doing anything to try and become a wolf is a great way to never become a wolf, EVER.
Lets say the randomizer smiles upon you and you are picked as a wolf.
3. The wolves take first blood
If you are not a wolf then for the next approximate 24 hours after the sign up closes you have nothing to do. Doing anything can draw attention to you and that can get you killed/framed. But post anywhere you want but in the game board if you want anyways, please do not spam though. If you are the wolf then you now have approximately 24 hours to decide which player signed up that you want to eat first. As for who to go after, well that is the game and not something you should take the advice of anyone else on unless you want to get caught easily. Personal message the choice to the Current GM for the game and wait till the first round is put up. You can talk to your fellow wolf if there is more then one of you or you could give clues in the CBOX or other places for the rabbits if you are bold enough to do it.
4. The Game is officially started
The CurrentGame section now reads Game XX Round 1 and that signals the start of the game. Now if you are one of the unlucky people that the wolves have eaten, then post your goodbye "ouch" or "why did I have to die first" comment and nothing else the rest of the game Rabbit Limbo is your new home to post (see below). For the rest of the living rabbits and the wolves too, now is the time to analyze/guess/accuse/defend and basically play the game. How you decide to play is up to you. The Rabbit's Pact (link above) is a good starting refrence, but in the end is is not something I can tell you how to do, so I won't. All of the rabbits that are alive and the wolves all get 1 vote per living wolf every round and the votes can be changed anytime durring the round using the retract button on the poll. If you vote while not in the game or after you died in the game then you will face mighty wrath and fiery vengeance (the GM will be ticked and all of the players as well). This is a death penalty crime in our world so do not ever do this. (the bold underlined and giant font should emphasize how serious this is, but if it dose not then do not expect to play here long) The round will usually be up for 24-72 hours depending on the GM's schedule and how the voting goes. Ties in the votes can extend a round, up to a point. If a round ends with more players then there living wolves tied then the gm will randomly pick the correct number from those that are tied to hang.
5. Rabbity vengeance, I mean the hanging.
After a round is over and the GM has put up a hanging any further posting in the round is useless, and also against the rules. Changing posts or votes after the fact will never do any good and will likely get you hanged in the next round or possibly eaten so do not do it. If you are dead and you do it then the same wrath shall befall you as if you did it in a live round.
The hanging post is the place for the fallen to tell everyone that they killed an innocent rabbit (the usual) or for a hung wolf to curse there brilliant wild guess (rare). The dead are not allowed to continue in the game and are off to Rabbit Limbo (even for the wolves). The living can post ideas in the hanging, but keep in mind that not everyone reads the comments there and the wolves may eat you if you do. I would recommend keeping theories and accusations in the rounds and not the hangings, but do what you will.
Assuming that at least one wolf is still alive and that you are too repeat 4 and 5 till one of those is false.
6. Rabbit Limbo (we all die sometime)
Rabbit Limbo is the place where all dead rabbits and wolves go to discuss the game and not get in trouble for doing it. It is under Dead Talk: Current Game Discussion. When you die you will get the password from the GM for this area. It changes every game and NEVER NEVER NEVER give it to anyone or post it in the CBOX. Only the GM should tell anyone this password. What you do while on this special board is up to you. Some sugestions, make bets on who will win the rabbits or the wolves, try to figure out who the wolves are (dead wolves please respect the dead and do not post directly in dead chat who your partner is unless you are asked directly, and then as a courtsey pm it to the asker.), and other game related stuff. Have fun but remember whatever is discussed in dead chat stays in dead chat and should never be told to the living. Dead chat is a privilege not a right.
7. The game is over
When the Rabbits hang the last wolf the game ends or when the Wolves eat most of the rabbits that are active the game also ends. At the end of the game the dead may speak and give out congratulations or I told you so(not to Trinity though, she hates them). Anywhere from a few hours or a few days will pass and the next game will start up with a new sign up. At this point the current game will go into the Past games section for others to read and learn from if they wish.
Left over Rules of Common Sense (which is sadly not very common)
Rabbit Doubt is a fun game of suspicion, intrigue, deception, and confrontation. At its very core it is A GAME. Please remember that one simple fact and just have fun. Nothing in a game is personal unless you let it become that. I do not believe we have any people on this site that are out to make you cry or hurt you. If you feel you are being picked on then first pm the person doing it and let them know how you feel. If that dose not work then talk to a GM in private about it. Be the bigger person and you will always have at least my respect.
Last rule if there is something you do not understand then please ask someone. You can PM most of the players (me included) your question and expect to get some help.
You can PM a GM and get an answer. If you are scared of the GMs then I recommend Kuro, he is kind and very non threatening. Xetka may get a laugh, Kura will answer you but may not put it as nicely as Kuro, and Ellie will always give you her honest opinion (it is up to you on how your will take her brutal honesty). But in all seriousness the GMs will all help you out in their own way.
So live learn and have fun.
This summery of the rules and how to play is not endorsed by Rabbit Doubt Games, its affiliates, subsidiaries, or anyone remotely in charge. As always you would be wise to seek the counsel of a GM if you believe something written here to be wrong, or you can just tell me and I might change it.
Addendum:
We just got the ability to use spoiler tags again, Thank you Kura. Please do not put Youtube videos or any ads under a spoiler tag, it can get this board in trouble and possibly deleted. This is a very nice thing to have on this site and I would like it to stick around so please use it responsibly.
