Hello everyone! I'm Crimson!...well...CrimsonGrey, since Crimson's already taken by someone who hasn't logged on since 2014 (I may have snooped around a little before finding the intro portion of the forum) I'm forced to use my backup, but I'm good with being called either....by now I've more or less gotten used to not being able to use my primary online name...

I read Doubt a loooong time ago, years ago, I think I was still in high school at the time or maybe just started college (I'm a graduate student at this point), and was kind of in the mood for horror/survival manga and realized enough time had passed by that I could read it again! I mean, I remember the ending, but forgot everything inbetween!

Anyways, in my initial search for the manga, I stumbled upon this site! The idea of actually playing rabbit doubt sounds like a lot of fun! That said, I'm new and I only just perused around the current game a bit so I'm still trying to figure out how to play. From what I see, it's very role-play based? Or is that completely optional? Also, I'm assuming we gotta do some research? I mean, glancing over the current game, I saw some things about Finland or something or someone talking about a place in Finland and I was just a bit confused. If anyone can give me a more in-dept explanation of how the game is played, I'd really appreciate it! That's more or less why I'm posting this in the first place ^.^;

Anyways, yeah, about me, I'm a general anime and manga fan here, pretty sure like everyone else here is. Just started rereading Doubt and am delighted to find out that there are two sequels! I'd list everything I enjoy, but between the anime, manga, and superhero comics and video games, I'm afraid this post would be so big it'd scare everyone away from reading it. 
As I said, I'm a graduate student. I'm from the states, but I'm an insomniac so I'm typically up at odd hours of the night. It's the summertime and my school doesn't have summer classes for my program, so my spare time has shot up significantly. ^.^; Overall, I'm just looking to play the game and make some new friends!  

Also, I talk a lot...so I apologize in advance if that bothers anyone. I have this thing where, when I'm online, I type everything I think, verbatim. I figure that since so much of conversation is lost through text based conversation (body language, tone of voice, volume of voice, facial expressions, etc.) I have a compulsion to get as many of my thoughts out there as possible to avoid any misunderstandings. As a result, I have a tendency to produce walls of text when I'm not paying attention. 
It's funny because in real life, I'm incredibly shy and quiet. Like, to the point of getting therapy for my shyness. Which worked, but I'm still rather quiet in person. I also never really use abbreviations (for example, I spell out "hahaha" instead of lol) and use a lot of emoticons for the same reason stated above. 

I also looked through other introductions to gauge how long an appropriate one is and I just realized I wen't past that four paragraphs ago, so I'm just going to stop here, but I can't wait to start playing and getting to know everyone (assuming you guys let met, of course ^.^; I swear, I have a better control over how much I type when I remember) so it's nice to meet you all!

Hi Crimson! Welcome to RDG, and I hope you enjoy the games~ Clearing a little confusion, the roleplay bit was just a joke for the current game, it's mainly plain theorizing and debating. This game's got a theme to it, supernatural X-files business, so the Finland mysteries is to spice up the fun and isn't to affect the wolf hunting.

Wanna learn the game? Wolves kill in between rounds, and Everyone votes to hang during rounds. After votes, we get a Hanging to show if we killed a wolf or a bunny. You can pick up on who could be the big baddie through how people vote or speak or even past game interactions.

Nice to meet you though~ I really liked reading Judge if you get to it. Let's play the next game and have fun!

Hi Toasty, it's great to meet you, too! From what I've seen of your postings through my browsing of the forums, you seem like a really fun person! Also your avatar is from one of my favorite recent anime so that alone makes you awesome!

It seems like a lot of fun so far! I can't wait to play next time there's a sign up! Looks like I gotta go through some past games to get a feel for everyone else because it seems like everyone's actions on this site are a major factor.

One thing I'm curious about though, how does the wolf kill in between rounds? Obviously they can't just up and post it on the forum during the rounds, right? Do they just pm the GM who they wanna kill and when? Is it based on who they vote for? Other than that, I get a pretty good feel for the game. Thanks for the welcome!

Thanks for those compliments Crimson~ The wolves will PM their kill to the GM so only they will know, and if they don't message in whatever time limit is put before the next round, their kill will be randomized among the bunnies. If you have anymore questions about the game, feel free to ask!

First of all, you can change your display name, but your username remains permanent. Just look around in Profile > Edit Profile > Personal.

Like Toasty said, we don’t usually role-play, but there’s no one stopping you to do so.
And yes, the stuff about Finland, is just there for “flavor”, like a theme/story for the game. You can think of it as irrelevant.

Wolves PM the GM on who they want to kill during the “hangings” which are posted in between the rounds.

What are those sequels to “Doubt”. I know “Judge” is one of them. What’s the other one called? There are actually other manga out there on a similar premise.

Kuro They aren't really sequels. More like other series by the same guy, but the two are called Judge and Secret

Salut! Welcome to the forum! I didn't even know there was a third entry in the series, interesting. I only read Doubt and because it was rather predictable and sucky, I didn't give the others a try. How are they?

Hope we will have a great time together I am usually the person that gets hanged pretty early on, so that's one way to remember me. You can call me Kolo for short. I will call you Crimsongre instead of Crimsongrey for short. Sounds good? Great!

Thanks for the welcome guys! I think I got a pretty decent feel for the game at this point! I just have to start getting used to everyone's habits, really, at this point.

And Kuro, I'll have to decline on that simply because I'm focusing on reading through past games right now to prepare , but I really appreciate it!

As far as the two sequels go, I don't quite remember Judge aside from enjoying it, and I didn't hear about Secret until recently when I decided to reread Doubt, so I have no idea how it is, but I can't find it anywhere in English so I think it'll be a while until I figure out ^.^;
